My artistic journey

Wanting to delve into the world of art was a strong inner calling since my childhood. Just that, I didn't know how to go further than indulging in a few novice paintings like any child does. I then had the opportunity to attend some basic classes on sketching and that was a great foundation for me to take the next baby steps into the world of art. And thereon for the last 20 odd years, I've been consistently honing my painting skills, focusing on the painting styles that reflect my skills and personality.

All my paintings involve hours of painstaking work right from priming the canvas, composing my subject, sketching, selecting quality oil paints, to applying multi-layers of painting, glazing and eventually varnishing the finished art for long standing quality. My quality paintings strive to deliver true value to any art collector by standing the test of time.

My inspiration

My inspiration simply putting it, is in the world of Portraits. Bringing out my subject's identity, personality, emotions and reflecting in their entirety, are the core challenges that I throw at myself when I paint. Whether it is a realistic portrait or a concept of an abstract subject or theme, I give it all to bring out paintings that can capture the goodwill and give my patrons something to smile about.

My Vision

In the world of multiple distractions, art is an age-old discipline that has been the bonding force in bringing out the humanness of mankind over centuries and shall continue to do so in future. Art is the means of one's expression - be it as a realistic snapshot of life or a work of modern art, they ingrain valuable messages to society.

My artworks are humble attempts to recognize, harmonize and reflect on my subjects of interest, connecting the viewers and art lovers around me to a cohesive mindset of goodwill and joy.
